Patrilie Hernandez (they/she) is an independent consultant and founder of Embody Lib, LLC, a consulting practice that works with nonprofit organizations, public institutions, and care providers invested in collective well-being to improve organizational culture, systems, and practices. A liberatory learning designer, social impact strategist, and facilitator with nearly 17 years of experience, their approach is grounded in the belief that all bodies deserve to be treated with dignity and have access to the power, resources, and opportunities necessary to thrive. Drawing from a multidisciplinary background in social science, public health, and nonprofit management, as well as their lived experience navigating systems of care, Patrilie offers a nuanced, intersectional perspective on creating positive social impact. They specialize in integrating body- and brain-inclusive, healing-centered, and culturally responsive strategies and frameworks to help organizations dismantle inequitable narratives and practices, equipping them to engage in community-driven work and advance just access to resources and fair opportunities for all.

After nearly 13 years in Washington, DC, Patrilie is thrilled to be back in their hometown of St. Louis. They reside in Saint Louis City and love cooking for loved ones, reading, moon-gazing, and spending quality time with their friends, family, spouse, and dog.
