*Rise: A measurement from the crotch of the garment to the top of the waistband, to determine how high the pant will come on your torso. This measurement is dependent on the style of the garment, not specific to the size, and is generally categorized as low-rise, mid-rise and high-rise.

*Inseam: A measurement from the crotch of the garment to the bottom of the pant leg, to determine the length of the pant. This measurement is based on how you want your garment to fit, whether you want a pant leg to sit ankle length, or touch the ground

How to Measure:

Chest Measurement: Take this measurement of your body around widest part of your chest, or to measure from a garment lay the item flat and measure from the bottom of one armpit seam to the other armpit seam and double that number to get your chest measurement.

Waist Measurement: Take this measurement of your body around the narrowest part of your torso (usually near your belly button), or to measure from a garment lay the item flat and measure at the waistband from one seam to the other and double that number to get your waist measurement.

Hip Measurement: Take this measurement of your body around the widest part of your bottom, or to measure from a garment lay the item flat and measure across the widest part of a pant seat usually across the crotch.
